Everything about this place is awesome! Loved the spinach & uni pasta. Tried my husband's hamburger curry & it was spectacular! Service was great & the restaurant was impeccably clean!

I had a great dinner at Cafe Hiro, they are a Japanese Italian fusion restaurant and I knew I wanted to try their pasta dishes. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time, especially if you have a big group. I ordered the Uni Pasta and was able to sample the Beef Tataki, Seafood & Uni Risotto, Mentaiko Pasta, and Carbonara Pasta from my friends. I enjoyed everything, my favorite would have to be my Uni Pasta dish. There was a time I didn't like uni, but that phase is long gone, I love uni now! It's is definitely an acquired taste though. Cafe Hiro is a great spot for Japanese and Italian fusion cuisine, give them a try if you're interested in trying it out!

This place is such a cute and charming little hole in the wall that reminds me of small family owned restaurants in Japan. This is a Japanese Italian restaurant that is a very common theme in japan but very hard to find here. And they do it right! Their menu has some classic items and they also have specials on the boards so make sure to check everytime. I started off with their delicious chicken Karaage which was very nice and crispy and tender inside. The Peking Pork was another delicious appetizer I had ordered when I saw another table had it and it's displayed very nicely as you will see in the pics. The pork was just perfectly cooked and the buns were soft and warm. We for entree I had ordered the Hamburg steak and Menchi combo. That was definitely a hit for me as they come with 2 pieces and my goodness it was cooked perfectly. I like using a combination of Demi glaze and Ponzu with mine but try them separately first. Somehow with authentic Japanese food you never feel too full so I also had room to share the Walnut Crème Brûlée and the Berry Panna Cotta and that was the perfect finish to the experience. Everyone is super nice here which reflects in their good service. I will definitely be back!

I was initially expecting the food to be overhyped, but now I understand why everyone raves about this place. We ordered two appetizers, the tuna tartar and the beef tataki. Both tasted good but were pretty unmemorable if I'm being honest. The risotto dishes, on the other hand, were everything I expected them to be and more. Though they look kind of small at first, they're deceptively filling. I got the roasted miso marinated salmon and my friend got the seared scallop. The scallops were cooked well, but wow, the salmon was on a whole other level. It was savory and buttery with a subtle sweetness. My friend and I both agreed that the salmon was the highlight of this meal. The risotto wasn't crazy flavorful but it complemented my salmon really well.
